Wim Bosman will manage the complete supply chain of Samsung's White Goods division transporting the products from the port of Constanta to Wim Bosman's warehouse facility in Ploiesti (Romania). The logistics operator will take charge of warehousing activities, offering picking and packing services and manage the outbound distribution throughout Romania and Bulgaria. The Logistics Service Provider will also take care of all customs clearance activities for Samsung. Moreover, Wim Bosman will operate the return centre and reverse flows for all Samsung's product groups in the two countries.
Samsung's choice to collaborate with Wim Bosman in the challenging Romanian and Bulgarian market is based on the experience of Samsung in contracts with Wim Bosman in the Benelux region. Wim Bosman manages Samsung's supply chain of its Consumer Electronics division in The Netherlands, Belgium and Luxembourg operating from its European Headquarters in 's-Heerenberg, The Netherlands.
Wim Bosman S.R.L. operates 2 sites in Romania; in Ploiesti and Arad. The 10,000 m2 A-class warehouse and modern office facilities were built in the Ploiesti Industrial Park, a geographically optimal location outside the congested area of Bucharest.
The new contract with Samsung Electronics enables Wim Bosman to drive forward its expansion plans on the Romanian and Bulgarian market, offering customers integrated supply chain services.
